Seventeen of us have just arrived here at the beautiful Ushuaia. Flying over the Andes was quite an extrodinary experience. We are doing this official group blog to announce that we will keep this updated. So please do check this periodically and make comments. Greetings from Missouri to Norma Neely. We are following your travels daily in our classroom. Looking forward to hearing lots of neat things.
A big shout-out to you guys! We have been planning our scientific research projects for Anarctica. Tomorrow we tour Tierra del Fuego National Park and get on our ship at 4 p.m. There will be no email access until we get back on December 29th.
It's light outside until 10 or 11 p.m. and the Andes Mountains are in our backyard.
Wish me luck going through the Drake Passage--- some of the roughest water in the world.
